ACCOUNTANT
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and support financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to maintain financial stability. Assist in tax preparation and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Process payroll, ensuring accurate salary calculations and deductions. Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions. Support budgeting and forecasting activities for financial planning. Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation. Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Stay updated with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and industry regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification (preferred). 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
