Job Description

Joel Chavez Equipment Rentals Corp. is in need of a reliable compactor operator to operate heavy equipment used for compacting earth, gravel, and asphalt in construction and roadwork projects. The role involves equipment operation, basic maintenance, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate compactor machines to compress soil, gravel, and asphalt • Ensure proper machine function and perform daily equipment checks • Follow safety standards and worksite procedures • Assist with site preparation and surface leveling • Communicate with site supervisors and team for efficient workflow • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned equipment

Requirements

• At least high school graduate • With at least 1–2 years of experience as a Compactor Operator • Must have a valid driver's license with restrictions 1, 2, 3, and 8 • Must hold an HEO NCII (Heavy Equipment Operation - National Certificate II)
