Design Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented interior designer or architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing interior spaces, creating rough sketches, and coordinating design concepts with clients. The role includes site visits, measurements, and producing floor plans with color and layout coordination.

Job Responsibilities

• Create rough sketches by hand for client presentations • Design interior layouts and coordinate color schemes • Use design software such as SketchUp (a plus) • Interpret and understand floor plans and blueprints • Conduct actual site measurements • Collaborate with clients to bring their design ideas to life • Ensure functionality and aesthetics in all interior spaces

Requirements

• At least a bachelor's/College Degree in interior design, architecture or equivalent • Must be able to manually draw rough sketches on the spot for presentation with the client. • Knowledge of SketchUp is a plus. Ability to do in-room design and color coordination • Knowledgeable in reading & understanding floor plans. Actual site measurement
