Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

A Merchandiser/ re-filler is working, moving force of sales that give a lively image to a product through better product exposures and displays in stores with the intention of maximizing product awareness and off-take.

·        He performs an important function of ensuring the availability of the complete lines of products in the shelves within easy reach of the customer.

·        He should be able to create an impressive, prominent and dominant display of the products according to the market share or least at minimum equal facing with major competitors.

B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Creates and maintains prominent, attractive, interesting dominant mass display or shelf display of assigned supermarket and outlet in accordance with agreed merchandising guidelines.

·        Ensures that the maximum number of product and sizes are prominently and creatively display.

·        Always look for opportunities to increase facing of the clients’ product at all times.  If possible, displays the product according to market share or at least at minimum equal facing with the major competitors.

·        Maintains product hygiene of all assigned products and display area at all times ensuring the products are kept clean, presentable and attractive to consumers.

·        Requests merchandising materials and install posters and price tags and all points of sale materials to support the product and display.

·        Conducts regular count of inventory in the warehouse and selling area and submits to the Merchandiser’s weekly inventory and off-take report and all other reporting requirements and due date.

·        Prevent stocks to run-out by regularly replenishing stocks in the selling area and informing the coordinator concerned of any stocks at critical level.

·        Monitor batches of products and account for expiring or damage stocks for possible withdrawal or reassignment and inform the coordinator concerned for prompt action.

·        Maintains an effective system of controlling the quality of merchandise using first in, first out (FIFO) method of inventory control.

·        Assist in special sales promotions (bundling activities, raffle draw, etc.) which may be implemented from time to time.

·        Be observant for any competitive promotion or sales activities and provide immediate feedback to the coordinator concerned.

·        Maintains the secrecy of any privilege information or marketing plans, which are considered confidential.

·        Reports on time and always present in his assigned outlets.

·        Wear prescribed uniforms at all times. Conduct himself at work in behaved manner within the bounds of company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Ø At least High School graduate

Ø with or without experience in Merchandising is welcome to apply

Ø With SSS, Pagibig, Philhealth, updated NBI Clearance, Covid Vaccine
