Job Title : Assistant Operations Manager

 Job Summary

 The Assistant Operations Manager supports the daily operations of the company by assisting in project management, resource allocation, and overall coordination of construction activities. They ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

 1. Project Coordination & Management

 Assist in overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion.

Coordinate with PIC/Site Engineer, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

 Monitor progress and resolve operational challenges that may arise on-site.

 Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

 2. Resource & Workforce Management

    Assist in scheduling and allocating manpower, equipment, and materials to various projects.

    Support the procurement team in sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers.

    Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking when necessary.

 3. Quality & Safety Compliance

    Ensure that all construction activities adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

    Conduct site inspections and address any issues related to quality and safety.

    Work closely with the Safety Officer to enforce safety protocols on-site.

 4. Administrative & Reporting Tasks

    Prepare reports on project status, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.

    Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial tracking of projects.

    Maintain proper documentation of contracts, permits, and other essential records.

 5. Communication & Coordination

    Act as a liaison between management, clients,  and site teams.

    Support client meetings, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.

    Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager regarding project progress and challenges.

 

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, construction, or project management.

    Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.

    Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
